SELLING CHOICE We start the sale with your pick of two heifers that we consider the cream of our crop – one sired by Yon Saluda and the other by his full brother, Yon Southern Comfort. Their dam, Yon Witch J91, is the mother of Yon Top Sort, the herd sire select- ed by Justin & Sarah Spickler, in the Spring 2024 YFF Sale. J91 is an important anchor of our donor cow battery – her 3 natural calves have an average WWR of 110, and 2 yearling bulls averaged 112 at yearling, with average scan ratios of 128 and 126 for IMF and RE in large, competitive contem- porary groups. These two heifers have POWERFUL EPD packages and excellent phenotype, typifying what we are trying to cultivate in the YFF program.
