As technology reshapes how high-performance environments are designed and delivered, we are continuing to invest in research, digitalisation, and advanced construction technologies that improve efficiency, safety, and project outcomes. enhanced our site openings management process by integrating Augmented Reality (AR) with our established BIM workflows. In 2024, we After evaluating both Virtual Reality and AR, we selected AR as the most practical solution for site use, allowing teams to visualise digital models directly in the field using tablets. Working with GAMMA AR, fully integrated with Autodesk Construction Cloud and Procore, we successfully implemented a new system that enables real-time visualisation and synchronised project data on site. This ensures construction aligns precisely with design intent, reducing errors, improving coordination, and increasing efficiency.
The deployment was approved by Ardmac’s Digital Innovation Committee (DIC), a cross-functional leadership group that ensures all digital initiatives meet our high standards for quality, safety, and operational excellence. Looking ahead, Ardmac is continuing to expand its digital capabilities, investing in AI, automation, and real-time project data to support smarter decision- making and more consistent delivery across our projects. As we build on our 50-year legacy, we are increasing our investment in research and development to support new sectors, explore new markets, and deliver faster, smarter, and more sustainable solutions for our clients.
