FUNDRAISING & COMMUNITY CONNECTIONS
The Fundraising team continue to plan and deliver a range of activities for our school, serving the dual purpose of running events that build community and social connections, whilst raising funds for ideas that have been brought to us directly from staff and students. All volunteers, without the team ’ s generous donation of time, these events would not be possible.

MOTHER ’ S DAY BREAKFAST
Following on from our very successful Fathers Day Breakfast last year, we would love to invite all families to our inaugural Mothers Day and special persons breakfast next Friday 10 May 2024. Beginning at 8am, we will be serving pancakes and having a coffee van on site (all free of charge). We are looking forward to seeing everyone!
MOTHER ’ S DAY STALL
For Primary parents/carers, please also don ’ t forget to put your forms in by next Tuesday 7 May for the annual Mothers Day stall on Wednesday. The stall is an important, long - standing fundraising event that raises money towards new items for our students.
TRIVIA NIGHT
After a very long hiatus, Lakes Trivia Night is back on Saturday 1 June! We are excited to have booked TriviaOz to host the night, who have a wealth of experience hosting trivia events across Melbourne for schools, corporates and social clubs. The event promises to be a fun night with games, prizes and lots of laughs!
Both table bookings of 10 are available to purchase, as well as individual tickets. For individual tickets, we will try our best to seat you with other individual ticket holders from similar year levels.
Money raised will go towards purchasing outdoor yard activities for students on both campuses.
We would love to support our Lakes family businesses by giving them the opportunity to promote themselves at the event. If your business would like to donate small items or vouchers that can be used for door prizes, the team would love to hear from you. Full acknowledgement of your generosity will be returned via the school newsletter and social media.
