The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held its Annual Sustainability and Green Visionary Awards Luncheon at the Biltmore Hotel with the theme "Green Future: Building a Sustainable Tomorrow, Today!" The event included a panel discussion moderated by Ana Cuervo, a Four-Time Emmy Award Winning journalist, featuring experts like Miami-Dade County Commissioner Raquel Regalado, David Landsberg, the President & CEO of Goodwill South Florida, and Amir Hafzalla, President of the South Region at Reworld. The highlight was the Green Visionary Awards ceremony, recognizing seven individuals for their contributions to environmental sustainability. Attendees were encouraged to bring unwanted sneakers for recycling, emphasizing everyday sustainable practices.
