The South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held its annual Women Empowering and Embracing Women Awards, with a thought-provoking theme centered around "State of Miami-Dade County Ports." The event commenced with opening remarks by the Honorable Daniella Levine Cava, the Mayor of Miami-Dade County. A panel discussion followed, featuring notable leaders such as Hydi Webb, Director of Port of Miami, and Ralph Cutié, Director of Miami International Airport, moderated by Emmy Award-winning news reporter and anchor Maria Fernanda Lopez from Univision. This year's event celebrated the achievements and contributions of several remarkable women within the community. Additionally, the SFLHCC Foundation was honored to receive a $2,500 check from its media partner, WSFL-TV Channel 39. Thank you to Andres Chaparro, GM, and WSFL-TV for their donation. This event recognized the accomplishments of exceptional individuals and highlighted the importance of empowering women and fostering leadership across the Miami-Dade region. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our Presenting Sponsor, Jackson Health System, and Title Sponsor, Coastal Wealth, for their invaluable support in making this event a success.
