We are pleased to announce the transition of leadership within our board. Formerly under the guidance of Roland Sanchez-Medina, Jr., Esq., we welcome our new Chairman, Jose Perez de Corcho. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to Roland for his exemplary service and dedication to our chamber, and we look forward to the fresh perspectives and insights that Jose will bring to our organization. Throughout the year, the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosted a diverse array of events, each contributing to our mission of fostering meaningful connections and empowering Hispanic businesses in the South Florida region. From dynamic networking opportunities to insightful discussions on pressing issues, these events have been instrumental in shaping the landscape of our community. We began the year with our New Year Networking Event, fostering connections for a year of growth. Our Fashionably Red Heart Disease Awareness Luncheon highlighted community resilience while raising critical health awareness. In celebration of our 31st anniversary, we hosted the A Thousand and One Lights Gala, a spectacular event that honored our rich history and looked towards a bright future. This was followed by our Annual Hispanic Leadership Awards Luncheon, where we had the privilege of recognizing outstanding individuals who have made significant contributions to the advancement of Hispanic entrepreneurship and leadership. In our dedication to sustainability and health, we hosted the Health Champion Awards Luncheon and the Sustainability Lunch and Panel Discussion, spotlighting these vital community concerns. Our Annual Installation Luncheon welcomed new members and honored our board's leadership. We also had the privilege of hosting our General Membership Luncheon and Legislative Debrief, where members had the opportunity to engage with policymakers and advocate for policies that support the growth and prosperity of Hispanic businesses in our region.
