almost every game this season, is among the nominees for Best Goaltender. The Papineauville Vikings stopped the Nats’ winning streak 6-3 on Feb. 7 in Papineauville. Scoring for Rockland were Paul Armstrong, Vincent Martel, and Nickolas Spirito. Goal assists came from Miquel Crispin, Garrett Reed and Patrick Sevigny. Minding the Rockland net was Daylon Courchene. Popping in points for the Vikings were Mathieu Des Ruisseaux, Vincent Labrosse, Anthony Laprade, Danny Plourde-Grenon, Maxime Roussel, and Danny Watters. Goal assists came from Watters, Roussel, Laprade, Des Ruisseaux, Justin-Claude Bissonnette,Thomas Rous- sy, and Steven St-Jean. Yannick Gosselin guarded the Vikings net. The Natsh are in St-Isidore Sunday evening against les Aigles.
One game left in the regular season sche- dule for the RocklandNationals then it’s time for the playoffs round. The Nats also looking ahead to the National Capital Junior Hockey League’s annual awards night presentations. Rockland has nominees in all of the players categories. Jeff Brett is on the lists for the MVP award and the Rookie of the Year title. Matthew Clifford and Patrick Johnson are nominated for, respectively, the Best Defenceman and Best Defensive Forward awards. L’équipe de hockey féminine Atome, le Lightning de Clarence-Rockland, a triomphé au tournoi annuel de Brockville qui a eu lieu les 30 et 31 janvier derniers, pour une deuxième année consécutive. Après avoir remporté leurs trois premiersmatchs intra- division, les filles ont gagné 4 à 2 en demi-finale contre l’équipe de Smith Falls. En finale contre Brockville, les filles ont tenu en haleine les spectateurs. En effet, il a fallu attendre en deuxième prolongation pour que l’équipe compte le but décisif leur procurant la victoire. À l’avant, on reconnaît les joueuses Vanessa Gravel, Emmanuelle Gendron, Janelle Mentor, Madison Dennehy, Alexane Grondin, Layla Elps et la gardienne de but, Jessie-AnnOuimet. Aumilieu : Sonya Bellefeuille, Rebecca Hotte, Maddy Flewitt, Uliana Loseva, Chanelle Leroux, Emma St-Onge, Katrina St-Onge et Noémie Rochon.
