The classic choice offering the most cost-effective balance of features for surface clipped fire alarm and emergency lighting installations. Complies with BS5839-1 and BS5266-1 for ‘standard’ fire resistance. Unique damage resistant Insudite TM insulation prevents damage to cores during termination and avoids expensive rework. The original, highly durable, dressable and easy to install alternative to MICC, with unmatched combination of rigidity and ease of bending. FP200 Gold ® is designed for safety circuits associated with fire detection, fire alarm and evacuation such as conventional or addressable fire alarm systems, emergency lighting and critical communication and essential circuits used in a wide range of public access buildings and industrial complexes. FP PLUS TM is the latest addition to Prysmian’s market leading FP range of fire resistant cables. This cable was introduced specifically to comply with the new enhanced requirements for such cables introduced by BS5839-1 “Fire detection and alarm systems for buildings - Part 1: Code of practice for system design, installation, commissioning and maintenance”. FP PLUS TM is a highly durable and dressable, easy to terminate and install fire resistant cable, using an enhanced variant of the unique Insudite TM damage resistant insulation system. It brings to the market for the first time an enhanced fire alarm cable with the unmatched combination of rigidity and ease of bending associated with FP200 Gold ® cable. Prysmian Firefix is a fire resistant, stainless steel clip developed for FP200 Gold, and FP PLUS. Firefix is quick and easy to install using the Spit Pulsa 800E gas nailing tool and meets the requirements of British Standards for fire alarm, emergency lighting, life safety and firefighting systems. Choose Firefix for fast and safe installation. • Fire resistant. • Complies with BS5839 series, BS5266-1 and BS8519. • Approved for use in London Underground. • Epoxy coated stainless steel. • Fix into block, steel, brick, concrete and composite deck. • Use the Spit Pulsa 800E for 10 seconds installation. • Single or double clip for one or two cables. FP100® is an excellent choice for upgrading existing screwed steel conduit based lighting and fire alarm systems. Choose FP100 where added mechanical protection or adaptability of a screwed steel conduit system is required; it provides installation solutions when FP200 Gold, FP PLUS & FP600 are unsuitable. The toughest cable to power essential emergency services in Large and Complex or high rise buildings. Easy to install and terminate in comparison to heavy duty mineral cable and needs only standard brass glands. FP600S meets the requirements of BS 8519 in all Categories, 1,2 and 3. This makes it suitable for evacuation systems that power and control smoke, air and sprinkler systems. In addition it’s suitable for power and control to fire-fighting systems in the Largest, most Complex buildings providing assistance to emergency services managing the fire and attending to those unable to escape.
