Founded in 1894, City is celebrating its 125th anniversary this year. The University has a diverse Central London estate portfolio ranging from grade-listed buildings to new state-of-the-art facilities. Reporting to the Head of Projects, the Senior Project Manager will lead the development and delivery of a diverse range of estate development projects including refurbishment, redevelopment and new build schemes typically ranging in value from £0.5m to £50m. The postholder will play a key role in the successful delivery of the University’s capital programme ensuring that the University has a high-quality estate in-line with the Vision & Strategy 2026. The successful candidate will possess a proven track record of leading complex medium to large scale estate development projects in either a client side or client’s consultant role. You will have a high degree of commercial acumen with a proactive approach to the management of projects ensuring that expectations around communications, programme, design and cost are met. It is essential that the postholder has excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills and is proactive, resilient and adaptable.
