ADULT AND PEDIATRIC FIRST AID/CPR/AED The Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age). $81.60 resident / $102 non-resident 10+ years RCN Sat., Oct. 12 – Nov. 30, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Certificate Issued and Validity Period: Certificates will be emailed within 4 weeks of course completion and will be valid for two years. Course Materials: The American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Participant’s Manual will be provided during class but not issued. A link to a free copy of the book will be provided during class.
ADULT SWIM LESSONS - BASIC Designed to develop confidence in the adult swimmer and is geared toward the needs of the class. Comfort and flotation in the water, basic survival, front crawl, back crawl, treading water and basic water safety are just a few of the skills taught. Classes consist of eight 45 minute lessons. $80 resident / $93.75 non-resident 16+ years RCN Sept. 3 – Dec. 5 / Mon./Wed. or Tues./Thur. / 7 – 7:45 ADULT SWIM LESSONS - INTERMEDIATE Designed for adult swimmers with a basic level of skill and comfort in the water. Students will improve upon basic skills such as flotation, treading water and front crawl and learn new skills that may include more advanced strokes, dives, turns and more. Classes consist of eight 45 minute lessons. $80 resident / $93.75 non-resident 16+ years RCN Sept. 3 – Dec. 4 / Mon./Wed. or Tues./Thur. / 8 – 8:45 p.m.
