Sun ... Seeking the

with Princess Cruises Stars ...and

For almost sixty years, Princess Cruises has been a trailblazer in leisurely, dependable cruising. Always classy, their ships have an easy-going cosiness - nothing too flashy or exaggerated.

Making its much-anticipated debut last February, Sun Princess is the first of two next-generation 'Sphere-class' ships for Princess Cruises. The identical, 4,310-passenger Star Princess will debut next October. These blockbusters are trendier and more innovative than previous vessels in the fleet, and they are designed to appeal to everyone, whatever their age. Nowhere is this new look more impressive than the iconic, fully glazed, multi-purpose Dome. With a water cascade, it's a serene solarium and indoor/outdoor pool by day, but when the sun goes down, it transforms into a stage for immersive shows by the renowned Cirque Éloize. Spanning three decks and flooded with light from floor to ceiling, the rotunda-style Piazza is a focal point, inspired by the chic squares of

Europe. Princess Theatre has evolved into the Princess Arena, the line's most technologically advanced performance space. On Sun Princess and Star Princess, dining choices have been reimagined. There are no fewer than 30 restaurants and bars with many outdoor options, plus several restaurants that have celebrity collaborators.

The main dining room, Horizons, spans three levels, while speciality dining choices include The Butcher’s Block by Dario, The Catch by Rudi, and Umai Teppanyaki, as well as firm favourites, Sabatini's Italian and Crown Grill. Each night, 30 guests enter Spellbound by Magic Carpet through a speakeasy-style black door. They enjoy curated cocktails while exploring a warren of Victorian-themed rooms with interactive special effects. As the anticipation builds, the show begins, fronted by a world-class magician.

It's mind-blowing, just like the ships!
