Graduate Hillgrove HS Kennesaw GA. Devin will begin his college career at HBCU Alabama A & M where he will be majoring in Electri-

tor to Kappa League and was a leader among his fellow Leaguers. Brother Norris recounted his Guide Right Kappa League experience. "The Guide Right Experience through the Alpharetta-Smyrna Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Incorporated was my formal introduc- tion to the fraternity that I can now say that I am proud to be a part of. My experience in Kappa League began with attendance at a Kappa League Confer- ence in Columbia, South Carolina. While in Columbia, I toured the Univer- sity of South Carolina campus. During that tour, many workshops were facili- tated by members of Kappa that taught us networking and life skills that I am now applying in everyday life. My experience in Kappa League as- sisted in the development of my service and work ethic during my college years at Johnson C. Smith University. This work ethic led to the completion of my first college degree, a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management. In ad- dition, I made the President's List three times and as I stated earlier became a member of Kappa Alpha Psi in Decem- ber 2017. While on campus I served on the Fundraising and Guide Right Com- mittees where I gave back knowledge that was given to me. Special thanks go to the Brothers of the Guide Right Program of ASA for their role in guiding me along my journey."

he was in 3 rd grade. We watched Rod- ney grow up from a child to a young man and we are honored immeasurably to support Ms. Watson in his growth and maturation. In all his years in Kappa League Rodney's watershed Guide Right moment occurred when he attended Kappa Kamp 2019. "Kappa Kamp opened my eyes to some really good things and I learned no matter what, I can always accom- plish things. My experience in Kappa Kamp made me more serious about my life and taught me it is not all fun and games. Rodney’s mother stated that Rodney came back after Kappa Kamp a changed person. "It was like a transfor- mation had taken place." Shortly after his return from Kappa Kamp Rodney got a job and worked full time hours and held down a full-time schedule at South Cobb HS throughout his Senior year. Rodney went on to say "Kappa League helped me through everything. What it means to be a man and how a man should handle his business. If I could, I’d stay in ASA Kappa League for one more year." Rodney is a member of the class of 2020 and will attend SAE Institute of Atlanta fall 2020. He credits his enrollment in SAE Institute of Atlanta to his participation in the Alpharetta Smyrna Alumni Chapter's College Cohort program.

cal Engineering. Devin was a member of the Alpharetta Smyrna Alumni Guide Right/Kappa League program from 2012 to 2020. His mother, Ms. Stephanie Jackson, did a great job with this young man and we are grateful and honored by her trust in us. Devin is easily one of if not the most well-mannered respectful young men that we have ever had in our program. To watch Devin grow from a shy minimally involved Leaguer into an assertive leader and model for other KL's is inspiring. Devin offered his thoughts on his Kappa League experience. "These last nine years in Alpharetta Smyrna Alumni Kappa League has had a huge impact on my life. Being able to go on field trips, hear from speakers and learn new things related to all seven phases of the Kappa League Program has been empowering. Going to the Kappa League Conferences as well as Kappa Kamp and meeting fellow Kappa Leaguers from different chapters has been a good experience. Forming bonds with my Kappa League brothers has done a lot to teach me about network- ing. Seeing how successful the Kappa brothers are and discussing with us the opportunities that are there for us inspired me to want to go to college. I was inspired to become an Electrical Engineer after visiting Georgia Power on a field trip. I was very glad to compete in speech contests and sharpen my writing skills.
