ABSENTEEISM
If you are going to be absent from work, you must notify your department head or immediate supervisor as soon as possible, but no later than two hours prior to your scheduled start time. You must also notify your immediate supervisor each succeeding day you are going to be absent. Failure to notify your immediate supervisor may result in discipline, including termination of your employment. If you do not call in for three (3) consecutive days, you will be assumed to have voluntarily resigned. You will be requested to submit medical verification from your doctor if your absenteeism exceeds three (3) consecutive days.
