Gordon Gallet - Gordon Gallet is an experienced Oil and Gas professional with over a decade in the industry. Starting as a field landman, he moved into a Division Order Analyst role in 2014 before joining Elk Range Royalties in 2020 and being promoted in 2025 to Director of Land Administration, where
operational excellence to her leadership. Before joining Oxy, Jean held several leadership roles at Newfield Exploration, culminating in her position as Director of Land Administration. Her work there included overseeing land administration functions and driving improvements in business performance and process management. Jean’s leadership philosophy centers on building and developing high-performing teams. She is a strong advocate for leveraging technology to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and execution across land administration operations. A dedicated industry contributor, Jean has been actively involved with the National Association of Division Order Analysts (NADOA) since beginning her career in 1983. She has served in numerous roles within local associations and currently serves as First Vice President of the national organization. She also contributes her time to the board of Goodland Academy, a nonprofit that supports the education and character development of at-risk youth in a Christian environment. Jean holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science with a focus on Public Affairs from Oklahoma State University. Outside of work, she enjoys baseball, golf, floating and reading in her pool, and attending theatrical and musical events around Houston. Merdith Liles - Meredith Liles has experience as an attorney, landman, and division order analyst, and is currently a Division Order Supervisor for Diamondback Energy. As a litigator, she never lost a case or motion that she argued. As a landman and analyst, she has negotiated agreements, reviewed
thousands of title opinions, set up over a thousand new wells, and processed thousands of transfers. She now approves those same tasks for her team. She is the person other landmen and analysts call when they come across something “strange” in title that they’ve never seen before. She spends large portions of her days trying to come up with funny ways to explain unusual title scenarios for her team...whether they’re actually funny or not is a question for her colleagues. She is married to a fellow “title nerd” and they enjoy discussing the oddities of their days on evening walks with their children and pets. If she’s not working, she’s probably lost in a book.
