centage of green technologies also highlights the progress of electrification in the field of supercars, traditionally reserved for large petrol-powered cars. Iconic brands such as Audi, McLaren, Pininfarina, Porsche and Rolls Royce will be present at Top Marques, along with models from Tesla, BYD, Zero Motorcycles, EyeLights and nanoFlowcell, which will be present with The New Quant, the world's first bat- tery-free electric vehicle (photo page 17, bottom). Other highlights include Venturi Astrolab's FLEX rover, chosen by NASA to go to the Moon in 2030, and Qibus, a technology that allows any modern car to be driven by a remote control device thousands of kilometres away. The exceptional display of revolu- tionary vehicles will complement the presentation of the latest thermal supercars, motorbikes, super- yachts and classic cars. Tesla chooses Top Marques
for its first European tour. The Tesla Cybertruck (photo double page 14-15), which will be making one of its first appearances in Monaco, is undoubted- ly one of the highlights of the Top Marques 2024 exhibition. The electric pick-up, which has a range of 547 kilometres, will begin its journey across Europe this week. The 24 hours it spends at Top Marques will be its first appearance at a European motor show. ‘We are the only show to bring together on the same site a hall showcasing classic cars, a hall dedi- cated to supercars and new technologies, as well as motorbikes, a superboat section, a watch and jewel- lery area, an automobile art gallery and a Ferrari auction in partnership with MonacoCarAuctions,’ enthused Emeric Garcia, Director of Top Marques Monaco. www.topmarquesmonaco.com
