I was raised in a family where volunteering was considered a privilege not an obligation. When I returned from Europe, I still had a

I graduated from Oregon State University where I earned a Bachelor degree in Business Administration. My entire career, spread across several Fortune 500 companies, focused on software development both as an individual contributor and part of several successful management teams. My focus has always been doing what is right for the people who reported to me and for all of my customers. And the same will hold true if elected to the Board of Directors – doing what is best for the Resort. I have great organizational skills and problem - solving skills. I am a good listener who is willing to share ideas openly and compromise if necessary. Outside of my work career I was a member of the Jr. Chamber of Commerce, PTA President and publicly elected to serve as a Local School Committee member and I was President of our HOA. I am currently serving on the ORPS Board of Directors, and I was recently appointed Chair of the A&A Committee. My experience on a personal and professional level has equipped me to be a valued member of the Board. I was humbled and honored to be appointed for a one - year term and I have put my heart and soul into the job since day one. And my tenure on the Board has prepared me to continue to serve the community and help move the Resort forward in a positive direction while keeping an eye on the financial health of the Resort and striving to keep HOA increases to a minimum. I will also be pushing for more open and transparent communications between the Board, Management and the Owners. We have a beautiful Resort and I look forward to working with you, the Board, committees, clubs and management to make ORPS the best it can be!
yearning to explore. I bought a 44ft. diesel coach and hit the road with my Westie Angus. I landed in ORPS in Dec. 2013. I was adopted by new friends on upper Fig and my life in ORPS began. In 2016 I purchased lot 1195 from the original owners keeping the signature address lamp post. As I became an owner, I began attending Board Meetings. Since then, I've attended every meeting. I served on the Dog Committee in 2016/17. In March of 2018 I was appointed to the Planning Committee. In 2019 I was elected Chair of the Committee and currently hold that position. I served on the Ad Hoc Committee to rewrite the Vision, Mission and Core Value Statements which are a current anchor for our Resort. “ Volunteering is the ultimate exercise in democracy. You vote in elections once a year but when you volunteer, you vote every day about the community you want to live in. ” Author Anonymous I ’ ve been asked by friends why don ’ t I run for the board. Now is the right time. This last year has been rough on the board with many resignations. I promise to serve my time and to be present in the Resort. ORPS is my home for 6 months of the year. I want to hold our board accountable for its actions and the way it conducts business and meetings. A Master Plan for ORPS will be a major focus for me.
