July 6: 49th Annual Penngrove Parade & BBQ Penngrove’s “Biggest Little Parade in Northern California” returns Sunday, July 6 at 11 a.m. headed down Main Street in downtown Penngrove featuring floats, bands, tractors and more. The fun continues from noon to 4 p.m. at Penngrove Park, 11800 Main St. in Penngrove, with barbecue, oysters, drinks, live music by Train Wreck Junction and kids’ games. No dogs, coolers, or outside food/ drinks allowed. Bring cash or use the on-site ATM—no digital IDs accepted. For more information visit penngrovesocialfiremen.org.
July 4: July Fourth Dog Walk Celebrate the Fourth of July with your dog at Jack London State Historic Park, 2400 London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen. Join a group walk from Beauty Ranch to the Wolf House (3 miles) with treats, water and festive dog attire encouraged. Dogs must be leashed, friendly and stay on designated trails. The event runs from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and admission is $5 per dog with a $10 parking fee. For more information visit jacklondonpark.com .
MJune 27 – 29: Country Summer Music Festival Country Summer, Northern California’s top country music festival, returns June 27–29. Located at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, 1350 Bennett Valley Road in Santa Rosa, 20 performers are set to perform. Headliners include Sam Hunt (Friday), Kane Brown (Saturday) and Dustin Lynch (Sunday). Beyond music, the event offers food, drinks, activities and VIP experiences like the new Premium Viewing Deck. There are single day and three day passes available for purchase, prices vary. Gates open at 3 p.m. Friday and noon on Saturday and Sunday. For more information, visit countrysummer.com.
June 28: Vintage Baseball Game & Wine on the Dream Field Be transported to the 19th century with the second annual vintage baseball event on the Dream Field at Balletto Vineyards, 5700 Occidental Road in Santa Rosa. Enjoy two historic-era games, full-costume performances and scenic views at Dream Field from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on June 28. Tickets include full-day access and are expected to sell out quickly due to last year’s success. Club members get exclusive 72- hour early access before public sales open at 7 a.m. on May 26.
