Question 2. What has worked well so far in supporting the well-being of your staff/teams/self? Recurring themes in responses: • Flexible working e.g. working from home • Frequent and consistent communication from Executives e.g. CE communications and briefings, GM communications • Open communication and support between staff and managers e.g. 1 on 1 support, open door approach • Informal team building e.g. team huddles • Training such as the Managing for Team Wellbeing workshops • Effective roster and workforce management e.g. adequate staffing and skill mix, excess leave management and appropriate relief, reviewing overtime

We will continue to roll out the Black Dog Institute Managing for for Team Wellbeing workshops over the coming months. These workshops are suitable for managers of front line teams and support teams. In addition, Psychological First Aid training (PFA) facilitated by Julie Dunsmore, COVID-19 Psychological Wellbeing & Support Project Lead, will commence in March and is specifically targeted towards additional skill building for managers of front line teams dealing with COVID.
