Chesley Daniel was born before 1792. He married Eliza Pugh Weightman 9 May 1811 in Raleigh, North Carolina. 42 Shortly thereafter, they probably moved to South Carolina. Chesley was a lawyer and a member of the South Carolina legislature. He and Eliza had no children. 43 Eliza died 17 July 1819. She was buried in Old Stone Church Cemetery then in Pendleton District now in Pickens County. 44 Chesley died 5 September 1828 in Abbeville District. 45 3 April 1834, Chesley’s mother and sisters notified the Ordinary (probate judge) that as his legal heirs they did not object to the administrator closing the estate. 46 Chesley’s place of burial is not known. Martha Daniel was born in 1792 and died after 1860. She married Robert Giles, M.D. In 1850, she, her husband and six children lived in Cokesbury in Abbeville District and in 1860, she, her husband and one child lived in Regiment 4 in Anderson District. 47 Jane Beverly Daniel was born 29 January 1795 and died 3 September 1861 in Marion District. She married Thomas Evans 11 April 1816 in Marion District. He was born 3 September 1790 near Marion, South Carolina, and died 9 August 1845 at Tranquility Plantation, Granville County, North Carolina.
