cared for. 79 Mary probably lived with the sister at her parents’ home until she married in 1885 in Greenwood. 80 The executor of her father’s estate sold her father’s farmland as town lots in 1888 and 1889 and distributed other lots to beneficiaries like Mary. 81 She sold her lots in the 1890s. 82 Mary and her husband Warren Edgar Owens made their home in Clinton in a neighboring county. If Mary already were not a Presbyterian, she became one when she married, joining the town’s Presbyterian church where her husband probably was a member. 83 In 1920, Mary, her husband and children lived at 58 Broadway in Clinton. 84 She was a member of the Presbyterian church for many years and “always active in the organized work of her church.” 85 Mary died in 1927 in Clinton. The cause of death was PELLAGRA .
