William T. Bate, a jeweler, in 1892. They lived in Barnesville, Pike County, Georgia. 39 When Charlotte and William lived in Barnesville, Charlotte was an active church worker at Barnesville Presbyterian Church. 40 William died 13 August 1927 and was buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Barnesville. 41 Many years later, when Charlotte died, she lived at 50 Carter Avenue S.E. in Atlanta. 42 She was buried in Cartersville, Georgia, where her Calhoun family members were buried. 43
