Complementary Family Information Four children of Eliza (Redmond) Osborn and Milton Osborn are known. Little is known about the oldest child and third child. Without doubt, both were born in Abbeville District but when and where they died is not known. The second child and fourth child and their spouses probably were born in Abbeville District and died in Greenwood County. a. Frances (Fannie) was born in 1839 and died after 1860. 31 b. Leonard Augustus, L.A. Osborne on his grave marker and called “Gus,” was born 26 February 1842 and died 26 June 1910. The South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church transferred its property to St. Mark United Methodist Church in Greenwood. St. Mark now conducts services and provides spiritual support in the village where Bethlehem church was located.
