VACATION SCHEMES
It’s never too early to start thinking about becoming a brilliant lawyer. That’s why we provide a combination of first year activities that allow you to experience life at our firm. You’ll find out what a career in law is really like, build a strong foundation for a vacation scheme or training contract and connect with our team. FIRST YEAR WORKSHOPS Every spring, we run two workshops at our London office. These take place over two days, during which you’ll hear from leading lawyers, take part in interactive sessions and shadow one of our current trainees. By gaining a place on one of our workshops, you’ll have the opportunity to First year students can apply to become a Campus Ambassador during their second year of study. LEARNING FROM THE BEST During your vacation scheme, you’ll sit with a partner or an associate and deliver real work for key clients. UNDERSTANDING THE BIG PICTURE You’ll attend workshops and presentations that will give you an insight into the depth and breadth of our practice areas and international reach. MAKING IT PERSONAL You’ll be invited to a range of events giving you the opportunity to network with partners, associates and trainees, as well as with your fellow vacation scheme students. At the end of the scheme you’ll be invited to attend an interview for a training contract. REWARDING YOUR EFFORTS You’ll be paid £400 per week for the time you spend with us.
