I began to take an interest in law whilst in the sixth form. I was quite good at public speaking and became president of the debating society, which really set me into my stride. I moved from Leicester to London to study Law at LSE. I did three vacation schemes and none of them really worked, but I’d won the Herbert Smith Freehills mooting competition and made good connections, so I applied to join the team. I really didn’t think I would enjoy working this much. I love the people I work with and how much I’m challenged every day. But the biggest thing is the mentorship and investment placed in your future.
