Thanks For Having Your Say!
Thank you to everyone who has recently completed this year’s MySay Survey.
Over the next few weeks, the senior team will be spending time reviewing your feedback and trying to understand where it is we really need to focus on over the next 12 months to become a better and more successful place to work. Following this, we will provide an update letting you know where we are going to focus on improving at an overall organisational level.
Please look out for further updates.
Changes To Mandatory Compliance Training On My Academy
The Board of Management recently requested that we reviewed our approach to compliance training to ensure it was still appropriate for the Group as a whole. A review of the current Compliance module requirements was undertaken by a panel including Compliance, Legal, L&TD, stakeholders, and subject matter experts. As a result of the review, we will be making changes to the training and recertification on our mandatory compliance modules for non-frontline colleagues who work outside of our Operations Teams or are at Supervisor level or above. These changes will be effective from 1 st February 2023. For more information on these changes visit Marvin.
Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)
This month the Wellbeing Team will be focusing on Seasonal Affective Disorder.
SAD is sometimes known as "winter depression" because the symptoms are usually more apparent and more severe during the winter. The wellbeing team will be offering resources on how to manage SAD, and further support information will be available on Marvin. And don’t forget the Wellbeing team is running Wellbeing Classes this month. A list of the classes can be found on Marvin too.

We are pleased to announce we are taking significant steps to help reduce our waste. At the end of 2022 Workwear Express became our new uniform supplier, adding recycled and sustainable fabric options to our uniform portfolio whilst continually seeking any new eco materials. Our ordering method allows on demand requests and therefore lessens waste. In addition, we have implemented a recycling process for old uniform to recycle, repurpose garments and save them from ending up in landfill. Our New Sustainable Uniforms
As we continue on our environment, social and
governance (ESG) journey, we are learning more and more each day about the way in which the actions we take can have an impact on the world we live in. Energy saving is not just about the money. It’s about how we can save the impact energy consumption has on our environment too.
