Unrestricted giving impacts all areas of The Orchard School by supporting the annual budget as needed. In May, to kick-off Green & Gold Giving Week, we asked: What Do You Love About Orchard?

The amount raised during Green & Gold Giving Week totaled $48,381.99 .
Approximately half of the money raised went into the “Teachers” bucket and purchased: • Thought Stretchers , a professional development program for all teachers ($20,000) • Newsela , an online resource for all teachers and Middle School students that features current events, science, English/language arts, and social studies articles ($5000) • Membership in the Association for Experiential Education ($355).
$13,553.84 was allocated to 2024-2025 operating budgets for Arts, Athletics, Outdoor Education and Greatest Need.
$9,473.15 was added to the Flexible Tuition budget.
In 2023-2024 scholarship-granting organization giving added $88,279.08 to the Flexible Tuition budget. 30% of students at The Orchard School pay a flexible tuition rate based on need.
