I swung back on my heel to reply to my friend, but his chair was empty; he was gone— gone to the Christ whom he loved, ‘caught up in the air’ to meet his Lord, where all those other missing saints have, been taken. “ Yes, yes, Mr. Apleon, a thousand times yes, to your question, ‘do I believe all that I have written there in that article?’ Here in this little pamphlet— ” He laid his hand, as he spoke, upon a small book that had been Tom Ham mond’s which- bore the title “ The Second Coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Much of the story is in the form of a dialogue. It keeps one’s interest on edge all the time. It gives a very good account of the life of this famous missionary to the cannibals. Cloth 75c Martin Luther By J. A . Morrison The sub-title of this book is The Lion-hearted Re former. It required a man of iron nerve and courage to do what Luther did. How he fearlessly took his stand against the corruption of the Roman church and in the face‘‘of losing his life, is a most absorbing story. You will enjoy it. Cloth 75c Hudson Taylor By Gloria Hunnex It was written by a missionary to the same country where Taylor acquired his fame. The author is par ticularly fitted to make the atory interesting and accurate because of her experiences. Chinese life, manners, and customs are charming and thia atory of Taylor ia one of unusual interest. It is time well spent to read it.
