13. OUTGOINGNESS – The Outgoingness of Aloha Wanderwell
Rivers without bridges would not stop the expedition. When they came to India’s Kadwa River blocking their way, they found some local farmers with oxen to pull the car across the river. However, this did not go as planned. The tugging got the vehicle to the deep- est part of the river but no further. Before the car would be washed away, Aloha and the others jumped into the current, grabbed the car by its tires, and lifted it to the opposite shore as the oxen pulled. Naturally, they captured the entire difficulty on film.
