Millar Angus - Annual Angus Bull Sale [2/18/26]

Welcome to the 25 th Anniversary Millar Angus Bull Sale! It seems like yesterday...we were fresh out of college just a few months away from our wedding day. Jon grew up selling bulls by private treaty, but wanted to see what it was like marketing them the auction way. Not sure if we were young and naive or just overly ambitious, maybe a little of both. We loaded up our favorite 16 bulls and headed to Philip Livestock. The bulls were well received and the fire to raise good seed stock was lit! Fast forward to current day, we find ourselves blessed with two wonderful kids who appreciate the country life as much as we do. Our son Ryle recently graduated from school and is excited to be able to pursue ranching full-time. He knows the herd as good as anyone and often finds himself showing visitors around the ranch. Our daughter Kobi is great help and has recently expanded her own cow herd. She loves her rodeo, is involved in FFA and 4H and has recently taken up wrestling. When it comes to us...chasing cows and kids pretty much sums up our “free time” but wouldn’t trade these days for anything! Looking toward the ranch side of things, 2025 proved to one to remember for our area. Not too often do strong cattle markets and ample moisture meet up in the same year, but when it does we sure don’t take it for granted and appreciate it while it lasts. Aside from the markets and weather though, we all know this industry holds it’s own set of challenges. We always try to focus on what we can control, that being said...quality typically sells. It excites us when we visit past customers who have seen an increase in weaning weights off the cow and in the feedlot. Expenses never seem to go down, so our goal is to produce cattle that will help your herd be as economical and profitable as possible. All of our bulls have been raised with the rancher in mind: natural growth bred in, not fed on. If you’re needing a bull to cover a little more country one of our two-year-olds should fit the bill. They’re from our 2024 calf crop and have never before been offered for sale. As always, we’ll keep the bulls until April and deliver them to surrounding states, free of charge. Bulls will be semen tested in March with scrotal measurements available sale day. All bulls sell FULLY GUARANTEED for the first breeding season with your satisfaction being our #1 priority. You’re always invited to stop by to view the bulls and the cowherd that produced them. Whether you’re considering Millar Angus genetics for the first time or are a repeat customer, neighbor or friend...we look forward to working with you! Jon, Breezy, Ryle & Kobi
