Miller Angus - 19th Bull Sale [2/15/26]

BEHIND THE MOTTO We captured this photo while out in the pens picturing bulls and believe it tells our story.

The bull himself is the obvious focus, but just in showing the result of the program. In the background at the base of the rolling hills a group of our spring cows traveled in from pasture to unrolled hay. Despite being a Pathfinder donor, the dam of this bull is out working among them. To the left is the windmill where they water. Traditional and proven, a source that we rely on. The bulls are developed in a barbed wire fenced pen. No feed wagon or fence line bunks, they are pellet fed twice a day according to their body weight. The bulls are walked through and handled. Developed for success. In our minds, breeding great cattle shouldn’t be complicated. We are conservatively progressive. Through the expansion of our ET program, use of A.I. Sires, and careful selection of our herd bull battery, every mating has been thoughtfully created and developed to thrive in tough environments. Extreme EPDs do not serve as the focal point of our breeding philosophy. Often times, if that was the case, unrealistic growth numbers would be attached to unattainable expectations, undesirable frame scores, lack of fleshing ability, and possible devastating effects on a cowherd’s fertility and longevity. EPDs are an amazing tool for selection, but we feel it is important to understand how they translate into different environments. There is no $Sandhills in an EPD $Value Index, but we feel that the bulls you find in this offering would lead the way. Backed by a real-world working cowherd, we are excited to offer bulls that have been bred, born, raised, and

Cow Fertility Profitability in a cow herd highly relates to pregnant cows. For those who keep back their own replacements, know our bulls are backed by cows that breed and thrive in the harsh Sandhills environment.

Bull Longevity Our bulls are age advantaged and developed to last multiple years in non- pampered breeding environments.

Ranchers get paid by the pound. Our genetics ensure that superior weaning weights are a focus of our breeding program.
