Of course, the Christian is thankful to God every day of his life, or ought to be. The believer is grateful for temporal blessings enjoyed in this great nation, but he is exceedingly thankful for spiritual blessings enjoyed in the Lord Jesus Christ and His atoning work on the cross. STUDY QUESTIONS 1. Make a list of the many physical and temporal blessings we enjoy in this nation that are not known by most of the peoples of the world. 2. Now, make a list of the spiritual blessings which belong to every believer in the Lord JesuS Christ. Discuss each of these priceless things. ’Why not have a few moments of prayer every now and then in the meeting to thank God for the blessings you have just been discussing? 3. Discuss the meaning of Bom. 8:32 and Eph. 1:3.
