JOB DESCRIPTION The Role • Generating and managing a range of agency instructions including acquisitions, disposals, and agency advice • Building close working relationships with key clients in order to maximise op- portunities for repeat work • Advising clients of appropriate terms for the purchase, sale of development land and properties, to ensure sites are realistically appraised and all ‘angles’ assessed • Marketing instructions and negotiating appropriate terms • Promoting Rapleys’ services and winning agency instructions • Driving the performance of the team, recruiting/building team, monitoring KPI’s, encouraging work winning and coaching/guiding junior team members

• Highly motivated • Experience of managing residential agency teams • MRICS Qualified • 10+ years working in Agency specifically within the Residential Market ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Agency and Fee Generation Personally, be capable of generating a minimum of £400,000 - £500,000 per an - num and driving forward a team to deliver £1m per annum minimum - ideally £1.5+. Experience of growing and transacting with a range of developments, investors and landowners in connecting with residential development opportunities. Network and Track Record A well-known, “name” in the Residential de- velopment market with an extensive range of contacts and reputation in the industry. A naturally engaging relationship builder, who can evidence experience of develop- ing a trusted network of contacts. Able to lead in a consultative approach in order to further relationships. Working in any or all of Rapleys’ geographic markets. Must be ca- pable of self-generating fee opportunities and working the various opportunities in the market.

People Management and Leadership Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a high level of personal credibility and authority. Strong teambuilding skills and track record of leading and growing a pro- fessional project team and business. Proven people management experience including development, mentoring and recruitment. Business and Financial Acumen Possessing strong commercial acumen, man- aging P&L and business development. Ability to manage team to ensure that they are oper- ating within the agreed financial budgets and delivering to the financial performance objec- tives. Behaviours A natural self-starter, who is motivated to achieve tangible results. A direct and sales focussed approach to fee generation. Will be comfortable in high profile contract negotia- tion situations, enjoying influencing people in order to get a result. A fast-paced individual with the ability to juggle multiple plates at any one stage. Is capable of using detail and facts to get details over the line when required.
