Size: 46,000 s/f Tishman Construction, an AECOM Company, served as builder for the new 46,000 s/f Textile Museum on the George Washington University campus. This collaborative venture between the 90-year-old Textile Museum – formerly located in Dupont Circle – and the university offers a more central location and triple the gallery space to display the museum’s 19,000-piece collection. The project is sig- nificant because it required managing a historic renovation and new construction on an incredibly small urban footprint.
