The year is coming to an end and Christmas is close. So, it is time to take a look back on the year that has passed before we all go on a well-deserved Christmas break. 2022 has been an unusual year in many ways. With the war in Ukraine, increased competition and rapidly in- creasing energy prices. At the same time, we were looking into a year in which the con- struction industry would in all probabi- lity be hit by stagnation. A lot has happened at HSHansen du- ring 2022 as part of an overall initia- tive adapting our sales strategy to the market situation.
With a strong team throughout HSHansen and focus on project selection and professional project deliveries, our worries were put to sha- me: We now have a larger order backlog and higher activity than just a year ago. See some of the projects on the opposite page. 2022 was also the year we launched our new website. At HSHansen, we have the most know- ledge and some of the best skills in it Scandinavian facade industry. With the new website we can show the world exactly whe we are and how we work.
We now look into the new year with op- timism and positivity, and we must con- tinue the good pace from the current year, and work together as one team across locations and national borders. We would like to take this opportuni- ty to thank you for your efforts in the past year. We are better off today after an in - credible journey in a very short time, which we have succeeded due to efforts from everyone. We wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
