INTRODUCTION
Designing teaching, learning and assessment strategies that take into consideration participants’ different learning styles. Developing instructional materials that instill in participants the required knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary for competence development. Implementing the instructional strategies within a dynamic and engaging learning environment. Assessing participants’ learning outcomes through in-class activities and group projects. Evaluating the programme through perception survey, focus group, interviews and analysis of participants’ end of workshops assignments and projects. IV. THE ADDIAE MODEL The six elements of the instructional framework are acronymed as the ADDIAE model. The ADDIAE instructional model allows participants to:
the concepts, main principles, and characteristics of each competence and its affiliated skills.
LEARN
their understanding of each competence to real–life situations.
APPLY
their understanding of the competence and its affiliated skills through guided discussion and group projects.
DEMONSTRATE
ASSESS
their competence development trough self-reflection.
