You will receive professional support from our experts in line with your personal preferences. We make sure that you stay safe while on the road. Proactive Care has both a proactive and a preventive function. Real-time analysis of your vehicle data enables service, maintenance or repair requirements to be detected at an early stage. When necessary, you will be contacted via the My BMW app, by e-mail, SMS or a message sent directly to your vehicle. If there is an urgent issue, you will receive a phone call from a BMW expert. How it works. •
Sensors read out vehicle data and automatically transfer them to BMW. Malfunctions are detected early and sorted by urgency. Contact takes place either via the My BMW app, by e-mail, SMS or a message sent directly in the vehicle. In urgent cases, you will receive a phone call. You will receive competent assistance on site, quickly via remote services or an appointment offer with a BMW service partner of your choice. The transferred data will enable the workshop to make specific preparations and order any spare parts needed.

ELECTRIC CAR SERVICING.
WHAT MAKES ELECTRIC CAR SERVICING DIFFERENT.
Every BMW is designed and engineered to provide unparalleled driving pleasure, regardless of its drivetrain. Just like petrol or diesel engine vehicles, electric vehicles also need servicing. However, there are some key differences between their service schedules. Servicing costs are unique to each model, with discounts available for electric BMW vehicles which are over 3 years old, via BMW Personalised Pricing. The older the vehicle, the greater the discount, with up to 40% discount available on parts for vehicles over 10 years old. Please contact your local Lloyd BMW Centre to find out more. Fewer parts. Electric vehicles have fewer moving parts than vehicles with a traditional combustion engine, so there are less things to maintain or repair – making it easier to keep your BMW in optimum condition. No oil changes. Petrol and diesel engines require premium oils to run smoothly, whereas fully electric vehicles don’t. That’s one less thing to worry about.
Cost effective. Although consumable parts such as tyres and brakes are comparable, electric vehicles do not use parts such as oil filters, spark plugs, timing belts & chains etc, so they can be cheaper to maintain than an equivalent BMW with a petrol or diesel engine.
