Meaghan Shewchuk Meaghan finished her undergraduate degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Manitoba in 2002. Since her graduation she has done significant and extensive continuing education on multiple topics, including - Doctorate of Physical Therapy through Evidence in Motion - Sport Physiotherapy Diploma and a - Diploma of Manual and Manipulative Therapy. Meaghan also holds certifications in - Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (MDT), - ConnectTherapyTM, - Acupuncture and - Dry Needling. Meaghan uses the ConnectTherapyTM assessment framework to assess complex patients in order to direct treatment, focusing on enhancing the treatment outcome. She has volunteered as a Sport Physiotherapist for many different National and International sporting events, including various Canada Games and International Figure Skating competitions, and had the opportunity to travel to China for the Youth Olympic Games as a member of the Medical Team for Team Canada.
Outside of work Meaghan enjoys figure skating, karate, hockey and yoga.
