CRITICAL THINKING
In groups of 4 to 5, trainees prepare a project of interest that concerns the community they live in and gives them the opportunity to apply the traits of critical thinkers. Based on their review of the available literature, they develop research questions that can be empirically tested. Partici- pants need to design, develop and distribute a perception survey through which they can mea- sure their subjects’ general attitudes towards the problem under inquiry and its proposed solution. Based on their analysis and interpretation of the results, group members develop in- formative 30-minute multimedia presentations with graphs, charts and visual aids and deliver them to their colleagues. 2.9 REFLECTIVE PRACTICE Individually, participants write reflective reports on their developed research projects through answering the following questions: 1. What is the aim of the project? To which competence does it belong? 2. When did you work on it? Where? 3. Why did you choose to work on this project? 4. Who was your targeted audience? 5. How did you develop it? What process did you follow to develop this project? 6. What is the importance of this artifact to your academic and professional ad- vancement? 7. What are the implications of the results?
