PEOPLE MANAGEMENT
What would you do (10 mins)
Activity: In groups of 3–5, discuss what you would do in the following situations: 1. You are managing a student committee/club at your university. One team member is highly talented, but rarely speaks in meetings or shares updates. Others are getting frustrated. What would you do? 2. You delegated a task to a teammate, but they misunderstood the instructions and produced unsatisfactory results. With the deadline being tomorrow, how would you address this situation? 3. You praised one team member publicly for their effort. Another team member ap- proaches you later, feeling undervalued. They believe their contribution was more sig- nificant. How would you respond to their concerns? 4. One teammate always delivers high quality work, but usually delivers at the last min- ute. The rest of the team gets anxious till the deadline. How would you handle this be- havior?
