Fantastic Beasts & Seaside Treats Go wild for the Hex Hotel, located within Yorkshire Wildlife Park and opened in 2022. We make the most of our base on this new tour with a full day spent at the on-site Yorkshire Wildlife Park – home to England’s only polar bears – and time to browse the complex’s numerous independent shops and boutique stores. We also enjoy a visit to Lincoln Cathedral, a canal cruise and a journey on one of Britain’s oldest seaside miniature railways complete with fish and chips for lunch! PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Lincoln Cathedral & Cruise We spend today in Lincoln, starting with a morning visit to the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral . One of Europe’s finest gothic buildings dating back to the 11th century, our visit includes a 1 hour floor tour where an expert guide takes us on a journey revealing hundreds of years of history. We have free time for lunch and a wander around the city before we finish our day with a relaxing 1 hour guided canal cruise taking in the sights of Lincoln and the surrounding countryside. An entertaining commentary is included so we don’t miss a detail. Day 3 Yorkshire Wildlife Park Driver’s Day Off Today we make the most of our unique location with a visit to Yorkshire Wildlife Park . As the UK’s number one walkthrough wildlife experience, we’re in for a ‘roarsome’ day out with around 475 animals to meet! Among the 60 different species, highlights include Project Polar, home to the only polar bears in England; magnificent African Lions in the seven-acre Lion Country; a family of Californian sea lions in the largest purpose-built habitat of its kind in the world; and the 300-metre raised walkway above Land of the Tigers. Other critters to look out for include rhinos, giraffes, red pandas, leopards, monkeys, lemurs, zebras, and many more! Day 4 Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway, Fish & Chips & Cleethorpes Today we hop on a historic miniature railway for a 45 minute return journey along the picturesque Humberside Coast with the Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway . The trip includes a delicious lunch of fish and chips plus a visit to the smallest pub on the planet, The Signal Box Inn! We also enjoy some time at leisure to relax in the Victorian seaside resort of Cleethorpes. Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.

Opened in 2022, the Hex Hotel is uniquely located in The Yorkshire Hive, a shopping, dining and entertainment complex which also includes Yorkshire Wildlife Park.
