PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival Day 2 Festive Cruise & Manchester We make our way to Wigan Pier to embark on a lovely three hour canal cruise , tucking into a festive afternoon tea as we sail. We spend this afternoon at leisure in Manchester, exploring the Christmas market. Day 3 Chester & Dunham Massey We start our day in Chester with free time to browse the Christmas market and enjoy some lunch. We then head to Dunham Massey to experience the after-dark, illuminated Winter Lights Trail , which meanders through the formal gardens and deer park. Please note, guests are likely to be eating dinner at approx. 20h00 at the hotel. Day 4 Departure
This tour includes a train journey on the famous Kyle Line, time for Christmas shopping in Inverness, a tasty afternoon tea and a tour and tasting at Glen Moray Distillery – ‘tis the season, after all! After, we enjoy free time to explore and soak up the festive atmosphere in Elgin before taking a scenic drive back to our hotel via Grantown-on-Spey. Day 3 Inverness & Afternoon Tea We begin our day with a visit to Inverness with free time to explore and perhaps do some Christmas shopping. In the afternoon we are treated to an afternoon tea at the impressive Palace Hotel & Spa Inverness , which dates back to the 1890s. Day 4 Kyle Line – Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh Today we embark on a one way scenic train journey on the famous Kyle Line from Inverness to Kyle of Lochalsh , travelling through spectacular scenery.
