The Seat of Power This fascinating tour includes an audio tour of the Houses of Parliament, entrance to Westminster Abbey with an afternoon tea and a visit to the Tower of London. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel with time for shopping or to explore the area. Day 2 Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey & Afternoon Tea We begin our day at the Houses of Parliament with a multimedia tour taking us through the many years of Government, as well as glimpses of life into this fabled seat of power! We then take a short walk to Westminster Abbey where we enjoy a guided tour of the royal church steeped in over a thousand years of British history. From royal weddings and coronations to poets, heroes and villains, this 700-year-old building has seen it all. Recent additions to the Abbey include the commemorative tombstone for the British physicist, Stephen Hawking, and the stunning stained-glass window designed by David Hockney. After our tour we enjoy afternoon tea in the Cellarium Café. Day 3 Tower of London & Departure After breakfast we travel to the Tower of London to visit what was once one of the most feared prisons in the UK and is home to the fabulous Crown Jewels. After our visit we join our coach for the journey home.

Enjoy panoramic views from The Shard, learn more about the iconic Tower Bridge and take in the history of the Tower of London which stands tall over the Thames. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival & The Shard On arrival in London, we make our way to one of London’s most iconic landmarks, The View from The Shard . It is the tallest building in Western Europe soaring 244 metres and 72 floors above the Capital. Twice the height of any other viewing platform in London, it offers unparalleled 360-degree views of up to 40 miles across the city. The viewing platforms are on floors 68, 69 and 72 and offer interactive touchscreen telescopes to explore London in more intriguing detail. After our visit we check into our hotel. Day 2 Tower of London & Tower Bridge After breakfast we visit the Tower of London , an infamous prison which has also served as an armoury, a treasury, a menagerie, a public record office and the home of the Crown Jewels of England. In the afternoon we visit Tower Bridge , surely London’s most iconic landmark! We learn about its importance and why it was built, get a look at the beautifully restored Victorian engine rooms, have a thrilling view of London through the glass floor, or for the more adventurous, see the panoramic views from the high level walkways. Day 3 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.
