A Jurassic Journey Our Weymouth packaged tour includes a visit to the unique Abbotsbury Swannery, a boat cruise along the Jurassic coast and a steam train journey with the Swanage Steam Railway. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Abbotsbury Swannery & Dorchester This morning we visit the very unique Abbotsbury Swannery , the world’s only managed colony of nesting mute swans. Spread over 25 acres located on the dramatic Dorset coast, the Swannery was established by Benedictine Monks in 1040, and is now one of Dorset’s most popular wildlife sites. We spend the afternoon in Dorchester, the vibrant county town of Dorset, discovering its connection to Thomas Hardy and exploring its shops and interesting museums which include the Dorset County Museum and the Keep Military Museum. Day 3 Weymouth We spend a relaxing day in Weymouth, one of the UK’s most beautiful seaside resorts with a fine Georgian seafront, esplanade and impressive golden sands. Take a stroll around the picturesque old harbour area and visit Brewer’s Quay which is full of arts, crafts and antique shops, visit the Sealife Centre or just sit and relax, enjoying the views and watching the world go by. Day 4 Poole Harbour & Swanage Steam Railway This morning, we make our way to Poole Harbour to embark on a 1 hour boat cruise down the Jurassic coast to the Victorian pier and the beautiful traditional seaside resort of Swanage. We spend time here before embarking on a six mile scenic journey with the award winning Swanage Steam Railway , through picturesque Purbeck to idyllic Corfe Castle Village, where we spend time exploring the village before returning by train to Swanage and sailing back to Poole . Day 5 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.

A Roaring Salisbury Weekender Staying near Salisbury, we make the most of our proximity to the medieval cathedral city with a full day to explore the magnificent Cathedral, tucking into a cream tea along the way. Our weekend also includes a visit to Longleat Safari Park where plenty of animal encounters await!

PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Salisbury

We spend today in Salisbury, with its historic streets and alleyways and charming half- timbered buildings. We enjoy the morning at leisure, perhaps visiting one of the museums (Salisbury Museum, Arundells or the Rifles Berkshire and Wiltshire Museum), admiring the 18th century Mompesson House or simply browsing the shops. This afternoon we visit the magnificent 13th century Salisbury Cathedral, boasting the tallest spire in the UK, a working 14th century clock and an original copy of the Magna Carta. We discover 800 years of history during our visit which includes a guided tour and a tasty cream tea. Day 3 Longleat Today we visit Longleat with its famous Safari Drive-through! As we journey through this fabulous land we keep our eyes peeled for lions, tigers, wolves, deer, zebras, white rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, Anne the elephant and some very cheeky monkeys! Once parked up, we can enjoy more animal encounters and perhaps enjoy a water-based adventure on the Boat Safari or a journey around the park’s scenic woodland on the Longleat Railway. Our day also includes the opportunity to marvel at the exterior of Longleat House, a masterpiece of Elizabethan architecture, and stroll around the beautiful gardens. Please note, Longleat House & Safari Park is often very busy during the August school holidays. Alternative options on this day include Wilton House near Salisbury (Sun-Thu only) or Mottisfont Rose Garden.

Day 4 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.

The bar has various seating areas, extending to a lounge.
