Serenity & Speed in Surrey Our super packaged tour of Surrey includes visits to Hampton Court Palace, the Edwardian retreat of Polesden Lacey, the fascinating Brooklands Museum, Denbies Wine Estate as well as a Thames River cruise – all not to be missed! PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Denbies Wine Estate & Polesden Lacey Our day starts visit a visit to Denbies Wine Estate , where we enjoy a 50 minute Denbies Vineyard Train Tour , taking in viewpoints with a recorded commentary. In the afternoon we head to Polesden Lacey , the perfect Edwardian retreat where the Queen Mother spent her honeymoon. With a glittering Gold Saloon designed to impress kings and maharajahs and an extensive collection of art and ceramics, the house is a treat to explore. Day 3 Hampton Court Palace & Thames River Cruise Today we visit Hampton Court Palace , a jewel amongst English palaces. Highlights include the vast Tudor kitchens, the Great Hall and sumptuous state and private apartments. Surrounded by beautiful gardens featuring parterres and fountains, the palace is also home to the world’s oldest maze, planted over 300 years ago. Later today, we embark on a short river cruise from the palace to Kingston upon Thames , where we rejoin our coach and return to our hotel. Day 4 Brooklands Museum & Departure After breakfast, before heading home, we visit Brooklands Museum , the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation and the home of Concorde. Opened in 1907, Brooklands is steeped in history and has spawned many great pioneers, drivers, aviators and engineers. It has numerous highlights to keep us rapt, amongst which are the Brooklands Aircraft Factory, the Concorde Experience and for the brave-hearted, the F1 Simulator.

Federation House Leatherhead, Surrey

Federation House is a hotel and conference centre – and also home to the Police Federation Headquarters – ideally located in Leatherhead, less than 5 minutes’ walk from the mainline train station and just 5 minutes’ drive from the M25 junction 9.
