Baroque Blenheim & a Drive on the Wild Side From our base in Swindon, we travel south to Longleat Safari Park and north to Blenheim Palace on this cracking new tour. As well as enjoying some up close and personal animal encounters, we can admire fabulous Longleat House and the remarkable Blenheim Palace. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Longleat Engine on, windows up, food out of sight, eyes on the rustling parkland… we’re entering the famous Longleat Safari Drive-through! As we journey through this fabulous land, where roaming animals are waiting to greet us, we keep our eyes peeled for lions, tigers, wolves, deer, zebras, white rhinos, cheetahs, giraffes, Anne the elephant and some very cheeky monkeys! Once parked up, we can enjoy more animal encounters as we wander and perhaps enjoy a water-based adventure on the Boat Safari or a 1 ¼ mile journey around the park’s woodland on the Longleat Railway. Our day also includes the opportunity to marvel at the exterior of Longleat House, a masterpiece of Elizabethan architecture, and stroll around the gardens and Capability Brown landscaped grounds. Day 3 Blenheim Palace Today we head to the fabulous Blenheim Palace , the seat of the Dukes of Marlborough, with time to explore at leisure. One of England’s largest houses, it was built in the early 1700s and was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1987. The palace is a family home, a mausoleum and national monument, and is notable as being the birthplace and ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill. Here, we can explore the gilded State Rooms, visit the Churchill Exhibition and wander the Formal Gardens. Day 4 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.

Bathe in the Southern Cotswolds This tour, based at our hotel in Swindon, provides the perfect opportunity to explore the many attractions located in the south of the Cotswolds. Our tour includes a visit to the quaint village of Lacock with its Abbey and Fox Talbot Museum, the grand Bowood House Estate and a day in Somerset’s largest city, Bath. PACKAGED ITINERARY Day 1 Arrival We arrive at our hotel in time for dinner. Day 2 Lacock & Bowood House After breakfast we head to Lacock to visit this unique National Trust village. Beautifully preserved, it has hardly changed since the 13th century when it was a thriving town trading in wool. In addition to exploring the town itself, we also visit Lacock Abbey , a former abbey which later became the home of the Fox Talbot family, pioneers of modern day photography. In the afternoon we make the short journey to Bowood House and Gardens , home of the Marquis of Lansdowne. Here, we enjoy a guided tour of the grand house and explore the 100 acres of beautifully landscaped parkland. Day 3 Bath Today we have the whole day in Bath. We are spoilt for choice with things to do and see in this honey-coloured, compact city: from the famous Roman Baths and Pump Rooms to the Royal Crescent, Victoria Art Gallery and Bath Brew House, it feels as though we have stepped into a Jane Austen novel. Day 4 Departure After breakfast, we make our way home.
