A few truly superb milestones were reached this year.

On Wednesday 18 June, the 1 XI played the prestigious MCC fixture which is always a much anticipated fixture. 1 XI captain Olly Skelton (pictured right) not only took five wickets in the first innings but also went on to open the batting and score a century! This could not have been achieve many times so we have contacted the MCC to see if he can confirm how many times it has been achieved. This is a stunning achievement and one in which will be talked about for many years to come. Olly who also took five wickets against the MCC last summer, gets to visit Lords again next summer to yet again be presented with a plaque in recognition of his achievement. On Wednesday 25 June, the 1 XI played the Band of Brothers in a declaration match at Broadstairs CC. After being 51-4, Jack Foster (pictured left) went on to score 122 runs from 90 deliveries which consisted of 22 x fours and 2 x sixes which was a strike rate of 135.6.
