Reporting to the Vice-President, Acute Care Services, Chief Nursing Executive (CNE) the Directors are accountable for the coordination, delivery and evaluation of patient care services including quality, and risk management, in harmony with the mission and values of the Hôpital Général de Hawkesbury & District Hospital. The Directors are responsible for the management of all aspects of the operations of their department ensuring safe, efficient and effective quality patient care and the deployment of human, fiscal and material resources. He/she will ensure the use of best practices and clinical standards, foster effective working and sustainable relationships with employees and medical staff, across the organization. The positions require that you have successfully completed a Baccalaureate degree in nursing and, preferably, a Master in nursing, business or management. You are a Registered Nurse and have a minimum of 5 years of recent clinical experience in nursing, with frontline as well as management experience; and a background that demonstrates a series of progressive career moves with increasing responsibility and complexity in the role.
