The scouts will also accept bottles and donations at the bottle depot on Laval Street that day. All money raised goes to the summer camp program. CUMBERLAND The Social Justice Committee of St. Margaret Mary Parish presents the movie, Mary of Nazareth, May 17, 9 a.m., at the Landmark Theatre, 3752 Innes Road in Orléans. This is a parish fundraiser to support local charities like the Shepherds of Good Hope and The Mission, which assist families in need, and also to support overseas relief efforts. Fashion show at St. Francis Xavier The St. Francis Xavier Catholic School Council is organising a fundraising event to thrill those of all ages. Mark your calendars for May 10 from 11am to 3pmbecause ST FX will be holding it’s very own fashion show featuring the latest fashion wear from several local different vendors. A silent auction and a bake sale will also be part of this very exciting day. For the 10 th year in a row Curves Rockland has hosted a spring food drive in support of the Rockland Food Bank. Joanne Richer, Curves outlet owner/operator presents Nicole Gaul, food bank director, with a cheque for $198 in cash donations from Curves members collected during the March drive. Curves Rockland members and staff also collected 425 pounds worth of non-perishable food items which went onto the shelves at the food bank.
