TYRAN L. WHITE Charleston (SC) Alumni

Brother Tyran L. White is a 2001 initiate of the Claflin University Chapter, the Gamma Nu colony at Charleston Southern University. He became a chartering member of the Charleston Southern University Chapter, the Omicron Mu. He is currently a member of the Charleston (SC) Alumni Chapter where he serves as the Keeper of Records. Brother White is currently employed as a High School English Teacher with Dorchester District 2 Schools. He also serves as an assistant Track and Field coach.

DOMINIQUE RIGGINS Albany (GA) Alumni

Brother Dominique W. Riggins is a 2016 initiate of the Claflin University Chapter, the Gamma Nu of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. Since his initiation as an undergraduate, he has been active in the fraternity. He has been a presence within the Southeastern Province for several years as a Board Member and a Committee Chair. As an undergraduate at Claflin University, Brother Riggins was President of the Student Government Association (SGA) and served two consecutive terms as Vice-Polemarch of the Gamma Nu Chapter. He was also a part of the Eta Class of the Fraternity’s Undergraduate Leadership Institute (ULI). Brother Riggins received the highest award for outstanding student service at Claflin University. Also, he achieved the highest cumulative grade point

average within his major and was awarded the Leadership and Service Award for the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. Brother Riggins was a Presidential Scholar and was the lone senior to graduate with such distinction. He was a member of the conscientious Alice Carson Tisdale Honors College. He received a bachelor of art degree in history from Claflin University. After graduation, Brother Riggins joined the Albany (GA) Alumni chapter. Brother Riggins has served in the offices of the Undergraduate Board of Directors (SC) and Junior Province Vice Polemarch of the Southeastern Province. Brother Riggins served on the Council of Junior Province Vice Polemarchs and as the Membership Training Academy (MTA) National Vice Chairman on the Grand Chapter level. At the 83rd Grand Chapter Meeting in Orlando, FL, he was a delegate and member of the Grand Chapter Nominating Committee. He was granted the Guy Levis Grant Award (94th) during the 84th Grand Chapter Meeting in Philadelphia, PA. Brother Riggins serves as the Nominating Committee Chair for the Southeastern Province, Vice-Polemarch for the Albany (GA) Alumni Chapter, and an Advisor for the Albany State University Chapter, the Delta Xi. Professionally, Brother Riggins serves as an assistant principal at Robert A. Cross Middle Magnet School (Dougherty County, Georgia). He was named 2022-23 Teacher of The Year for Dougherty Comprehensive High School. Brother Riggins also serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Albany Civil Rights Institute. He is a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church of Albany, GA.
