ORANGEBURG (SC) ALUMNI CHAPTER The Orangeburg (SC) Alumni Chapter celebrated its annual chapter holiday social at the Orangeburg Country Club on December 1, 2023. This event serves as a yearly gathering where members, known as Brothers and Silhouettes, come together to reflect on the past year and foster camaraderie. Notably, it is also the occasion when the Chapter’s Kappa Man of the Year is unveiled and honored. However, this year's event carried particular significance. The chapter had the distinct honor of recognizing and celebrating nine Brothers who have achieved, and in some cases surpassed, 50 years of membership in the fraternity. Among the highlights of the evening was the presentation of 50-year Cream Blazers to these distinguished Brothers, symbolizing a remarkable milestone in their dedication to the fraternity. The Brothers recognized during the event included Bro. Willie Jeffries (Alpha Lambda- Dec. 4, 1959), Bro. Robert Phillips (Epsilon Epsilon- Nov. 19, 1966), Bro. Freddie Kirkland (Gamma Nu- Nov. 10, 1967), Bro. Edward Glover (Alpha Lambda- Nov. 17, 1967), Bro. Julius Page (Orangeburg (SC) Alumni- May 1, 1968), Bro.
